Guan Suo is a fictional son of Guan Yu's, as there is no actual historical evidence of him existing in the actual time period. He is Guan Yu's third son, behind Guan Ping and Guan Xing, as well as the older brother of Guan Yinping. He only appears in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel, where he is shown to have contributed to the campaign against the Nanman. Another name he goes by is Hua Guan Suo, which means flower Guan Suo and he is said to have had four wives.
He is a fictional general in Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, as well as being an optional general in Dynasty Tactics 2. His first playable appear in the Dynasty Warriors series wasn't until Dynasty Warriors 7, where he used nunchaku as his main weapons. This carried on in Dynasty Warriors 8, as well as Warriors Orochi 3.
