George Washington was the commander of the Continental Army in Assassin's Creed III. Washington had little education growing up, learning mostly from books, but he was ambitious and started his military career during the French and Indian War, when he failed to lead an expedition to Fort Duquesne in 1754. A year later, he was the guide to Edward Braddock's expedition, which was thrwarted by Haytham Kenway and the other Templars, but was made Colonel for his job in organizing the retreat.
In 1758, Washington resigned his post for the British Army and by the late 1760's he was a member of the Continental Congress. In 1775, when war broke out, Washington was chosen to lead the army and although he had a few narrow escapes, barely avoiding the armys obliteration, he managed to win the war, largely in part to the Assassin Order and Connor Kenway.
