Benjamin Church was a surgeon for the Continental Army and a member of the Templar Order in Assassin's Creed III. In 1754, Haytham Kenway tracked down Church, who had been kidnapped and tortured by Silas Thatcher, for information on the location of John Pitcairn. He later joined Haytham and the other members of the order on the attack of Edward Braddock.
By 1775, Church had joined the Continental Army as a physician. After being released from jail, for supplying the British Army with secrets, Church left the Continental Army and the Order, stealing a large supply of weapons and medicine. This led to the temporary team up of Hayhtam Kenway and Connor Kenway to track down Church in New York and kill him.
