Robert Faulkner, aka Bobby, was an elderly sailor and Connor Kenway's first mate aboard the Aquila in Assassin's Creed III. Although he was a fourth generation seaman, he was first to be recruited into the Assassin Order.
Long before Faulkner met Connor Kenway, he began his career in the Royal Navy, before quitting and joining the United Company of Merchants. Faulkner then became the first mate aboard the Aquila, refusing to become captain for unknown reasons, until it was nearly destroyed in 1768. Towed to the Davenport Homestead, Faulkner took up drinking and lazing about until Connor recruited him and repaired the Aquila.
