Amanda Bailey was the well-known innkeeeper of Martha's Vineyard in Assassin's Creed III. The oldest in a large family, Bailey was left to raise her sibilings at the age of 14 when her mother died.
Bailey first met Robert Faulkner when she was a young woman working as a bar maid and he was working for the United Company of Merchants. Romance insued until Faulkner's disappearance, though she never lost hope.
A natural born leader, Bailey eventually bought the inn at Martha's Vineyard, set up a school in the area, and advocated the improtance of the docks bringing in more business. He inn became a hub for gossip, where she spied for the Patriots and reported information to Benjamin Tallmadge.
