Nicholas Biddle was a captain in the Continental Navy and a member of the Templar Order in Assassin's Creed III. Biddle joined the Royal Navy in 1770, but at the beginning of the Revolutionary War he offered his services to the the Continental Congress and was put in command of the Franklin.
In 1776, Biddle gained command of the Randolph and was recruited by Benjamin Church at Nantucket for unknown reasons, but considering Church's dealings it was probably illegal. Biddle spent most of his time on the high seas, attacking British ships, until his death in 1778 at the hands of Connor Kenway.
