William Dawes Jr. was a Boston revolutionary and one of the riders sent to warn Lexington and Concord on the night of April 18, 1775 in Assassin Creed III. While Paul Revere and Connor Kenway took the route across the water to Charlestown, Dawes took the longer route across Boston neck and arrived in Lexington shortly after Revere.
