The Black Baron is a character and antagonist in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.
The Black Baron was the host of the ACES flying competition, which was located in Holland. He had won the competition every year he participated, which was largely due to his gunship blimps. He dislikes when other teams try to cheat and use sabotage to take out other teams, even going as far as warning everyone that they'll be punished if they go out at night.
Sly ends up having to fight the Black Baron in both aerial combat, as well as melee combat. The first fight has Sly in a biplane fighting against the Black Baron's biplane, whose was definitely more powerful, but was defeated. The Black Baron then jumped down onto a larger plane, where he fought with Sly and was ultimately defeated there as well. It was revealed that the Black Baron was really Penelope in disguise, who said she used the disguise to get past the age requirements of the competition.
