Vyktor Kratek is a Colonel in the Helghast army and is tasked with destroying the ISA in Killzone: Mercenary. He has been known to be rather ruthless in achieving his goals, but he can also be cunning and charismatic. Kratek has shown extreme patriotism and a level of unloyalty no one else has shown has led to the approval of Emperor Visari.
