Heathcliff is the leader of the Knights of Blood, a guild in the Sword Art Online series of games. He is considered the strongest player in the game, even holding off the boss on the 50th floor by himself for a total of ten minutes. As it turns out, Heathcliff was actually the avatar of Kayaba Akihiko, the person responsible for creating SAO and trapping everyone in the game. He was defeated on the 75th floor by Kirito.
