Lyner Barsett is a Knight of Elemia and the protagonist of Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia. The son of Leard Barsett, the governor of Platina, he works closely with the tower administrator, Shurelia, and his best friend Ayatane.
Despite his position, Lyner is a teenager and is impulsive and rebellious towards his father. That being said, he is a loyal friend and will selflessly put his own life in danger to protect those he cares about.
