Silas Thatcher was a high-ranking officer in the British Army and a prolific slave trader in Assassin's Creed III.
Upon reaching Boston, Haytham Kenway sought out Benjamin Church for help only to find his house ransacked by Silas and his men. Haytham and Charles Lee tracked down Church's location and killed Silas' personal assistant, Cutter, while Silas got away. Later, while Silas was posted at Southgate Fort in Boston, Haytham and the other members of the Templar Order infiltrated the fort and killed Silas.
