Bourd Rade is Tenba's second-in-command and the minor antagonist of Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia. Seeing Reyvateils only as tools, Bourd is well known for his mistreatment of them as objects in brutal experiments. Encountered many times in the course of the story, he is rarely fought, sending his minions to to his evil deeds. He plots with Bishop Falss to awaken Mir in Phase 2 and eventually dies at the hands of Lyner Barsett.
