Campaign- this mode is where 4 players work together to complete 4 levels. This mode has 4 difficulty levels easy, normal, advanced and expert. To complete each level all living survivors must be inside the safehouse.
single player- this mode is just campaign exept you play alone offline with the other three survivors controlled by ai.
survival- you can play alone with ai or online with other real people. Survival is just how long you can survive.
versus- 4 players are survivors and 4 players are zombie, basically the survivors try to survive as long and make it to the end of the levels. You basically play a campaign. Now the zombies (team 2) are trying to stop the survivors from completing levels.
