Based on the word Ermac Being discovered in the game audits of the original mortal kombat many rumours sundenly sparked about a secret charater called Ermac. Many claimed to have found ermac with fake screenshots 
but despite the games developers stating that ermac did not excist and ermac actually meant error macro all the fans kept searching and searching.
In 1995 the fans got what they wanted as Ermac was a playable charater in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
Controlled by Shao Kahn, Ermac is a fusion of destroyed souls, the concentration of these destroyed souls gives Ermac telekenisis powers this allows ermac to travel through any realm. One of Ermacs weaknesses is the 
nether realm which drains ermacs powers and souls which can only be protected by the mysterious Soul Stone.
