The Campaign is open from the beginning of the game. There are three Acts, with each one containing 5 different levels. The player can have two AI-controlled allies with them during the Campaign, or they can have 2 other players online, or they can have one other player locally. Once you beat the game, you have the option to play the levels without any AI-controlled allies present.
