Max Payne 3 Characters List

Max Payne is the protagonist of the Max Payne video game franchise. He is a former NYPD cop and Special Agent. He gain medals for his expert marksmanship. This is perhaps a result or the source of his "Bullet Time" ability which takes the effect of slowing time to allow for better accuracy during gameplay. 

Max Payne is frequently in a state of depression as a result of the murder of his daughter and wife. As a result, he has taken to extreme alcoholism and the abuse of pain killers. He's spent much of his life in New York City but after he shot the son of a powerful mob boss, he fled the city to Sao Paolo, Brazil to take up work as a body guard.
