Cross Fire
If you go to the Toad game were you shoot to get more lives if you shoot at the same time then you and your friend will at least get 2 lives and you will get another shot Also you need to be at the final world and your friend has to be the yellow toad Have fun getting more lives
Dead player sounds
In multiplayer mode when someone runs out of lives during a level they can hold the Dpad in any direction and press 1 and 2 to make sounds such as a cowbell drums clapping and a horn
Double Ground Pound
In multiplayer mode have both players time a Ground Pound press Jump Down to hit the ground simultaneously This results in a Double Ground Pound that can kill nearby enemies similar to using a POW Block
Double Ground Pound Multiplayer
With at least two human players you can perform a special double ground pound that has the ability to kill all nearby enemies much like a POW block You039ll need to time your ground pound press JUMP then DOWN so both players hit precisely at the same moment

Stand still then Spin Jump on a dancing flower to get a coin
Easy Lives
While riding on a Yoshi jump on the bullets seven or eight times to get extra lives
Kill eight enemies while using a star to get an extra life You can keep it going until the star runs out if you are fast enough
Kill eight enemies with a turtle shell to get an extra life You can keep hitting the turtle shell until there are no more enemies if you run fast enough
Jump on seven turtles to get an extra life You can keep jumping on the turtles until there are no more to jump on if you are fast enough
Freeze the Pokeies then do a quick Ground Pound to get at least five extra lives
Extra lives
In World 2 you can jump on the turtle as done in New Super Mario Bros to get extra lives until you choose to stop or until time runs out
If you are riding on a Yoshi and jump on the bullets seven or eight times you will get as many extra lives as desired

Make Mushroom Houses appear
If you see a level where a Toad is trapped go into the level and save him The type of Mushroom House that appears will depend on the last digit of the time counter
Make mushroom houses appear in multiplayer
To get a mushroom house to appear in multiplayer you simply need to clear the level when the time has the same 2 end digits next to each other when you touch the flag pole Examples 544 322 411 Depending on the two end digits you will make different mushroom houses appear at the start point as you would in single player when you save a Toad only the digits are mostly red mushroom houses Two zeros at the end will get you nothing When you do this you hear the original Super Mario Bros level clear music and see a number of fireworks depending on what the last 2 digits are 1 firework for 11 2 for 22 and so on

Mushroom Houses
In New SMB Wii you can make a bonus Mushroom house appear on the map by saving Toad when he appears in a level To do this you039ll need to head to a level with the white Toad marker Release Toad from the Block he039s trapped in near the beginning of a level listen for the cries and run him all the way to the end of the level to make a Mushroom House spawn The type of Mushroom house depends on the final digit of the time when you grab the flag at the end of the level
Green 1Up cannon game Get Toad to the end of the level hit flag when the last digit of the time ends in 0 1 2 or 3
Red Match game Get Toad to the end of the level hit flag when the last digit of the time ends in 4 5 6 or 7
Gold Star reward Get Toad to the end of the level hit flag when the last digit of the time ends in 8 or 9
Note In multiplayer you can make a Mushroom House appear using the a similar timing method Hit the flag when the time digits end in 0011or 22 for a green house 33 44 55 66 77 or 88 for a red house or 99 for a gold house

Hatless Mario

Infinite lives
In World 24 just past the two Piranha Plants after the midlevel point you will come to a staircase with a turtle coming down it Jump on the turtle just as it is about to go off the third stair third from the bottom If done correctly Mario will continue to jump on the turtle and earn up to 99 lives If you miss the turtle go back towards the left and return to the staircase and the turtle will respawn This is a reference to the original Super Mario Bros in which you could do the same trick to get unlimited lives
Go to World 74 as Mini Mario Go through the stage while staying on the left side You will eventually see a box and a ledge Jump on the box then to the ledge Jump off the ledge making sure to stay against the wall and you will reach a platform with a pipe leading to a red flagpole You will unlock a 1Up Mushroom House to the north of World 74 which never disappears You can continue to get 1Ups until you reach your maximum of 99
In World 75 throw a Koopa shell inbetween the two Bullet Bill cannons to get an extra life every four seconds

Get five stars on your save file by beating the game collecting all the star coins in worlds 18 all the star coins in world 9 finding all the exits from a level and using every mushroom house and cannon on the map and youll get a message saying everything has been cleared Mushroom Houses will never go away letting you max out your items
