Pokemon Contests are another way to enhance your Pokemon. There are three categories in the contest: Visual, Dance, and Performance. And each aspect is rated against 3 other contendors. The Visual portion of the contest is a chance to add accerories to your pokemon to make it as visually appealing for the audience as possible. Each Visual portion has a theme and the closer you are to staying to that theme the more points you get.
The second aspect of the Pokemon contest is the Dance Judgment. This part tests the agility of the pokemon along with coordination. One pokemon chooses the steps and the remaining three have to follow along. The more accurate you are in your moves the more likely to win.
The thrid challenge in the Pokemon Contest is the Performance Judgement. This is an opportunity for the Pokemon to use their specifice moves to wow the judges based upon what type of contest they are in. For instant if you are entered in a pokemon contest for beauty, the more beautiful moves that you pokemon has the more likely they will win.
The final end of the Contest is the adding of all three areas to see which of the four contestants wins overall. Once you have won a single contest than that pokemon can enter higher and more challenging events. Each contest is filled with the same three areas, however it gets more challenging the higher up the pokemon go. The trainer can alway make their pokemon more appealing by feeding them berry cakes and adding more accesories to their wardrobe.
