Pole Position
Pole Position is single-player racing video game developed by Namco. It was originally released in September 1982 as an arcade game published by Atari and later converted to a range of home consoles including Atari 2600 and Commodore 64.
The game established the conventions of the racing game genre and its success inspired numerous imitators. Pole Position is thus regarded as one of the most influential racing games of all time.
