Special Forces: Team X is a team-centric third person shooter, featuring brutal, stylized firefights between elite squads of Special Forces operatives.
You equip your Operator with real world weapons, selecting from a range of Sig Sauer’s, Kalashnikovs and Colts, as well as the FAMAS, TAVOR, BW-15 and Mossberg 500.

Game Types
Special Forces: Team X introduces new gametypes, these are Hot Zone and High Value Target, both of which can be played with multiple teams.
Team Deathmatch
- Traditional team deathmatch; kill your opponents to score points. The team with the most points wins.
Hot Zone
- Players who can remain in the 'Hot Zone' score points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins.
High Value Target
- The High Value Target scores three points for every kill, whilst his teammates score two points per kill. Players on the opposing team only score one point per kill, so the goal is to kill the HVT in order to become him and earn your team more points.
Capture the Flag
- Traditional capture the flag - both teams have a flag in their base which the enemy must try to claim and take back to their own base in order to score a point.
Control Point
- Similar to Hot Zone except there are three CP nodes which generate points every second they are in a given team's control.
Maps
Special Forces: Team X introduces a brand new take on multiplayer map creation, giving the players the chance to create their own battle arenas by having players vote on 9 themed areas each round and making the map from the top three.
In addition to the unique map creation, heavy weapons spawn throughout the maps and can potentially change the tide of battle.

Teams
The game supports two, three, and four teams during matches, so staying with your team has never been more important as players that stick together will be richly awarded in the game because players that work together in groups of 2 or more will have a bonus advantage in firefights.
You can also go beyond the standard 2 team matches, and experience the controlled chaos with 3 and 4 teams in TDM, HVT and HZ. And fighting against more than one team is better for your rank progression.
Customization
Like most multiplayer games, Special Forces Team X allows you to customize your Special Forces Operator in a number of ways, such as adjusting your character's weapons, appearance, attire, player skills, attack dogs and taunts.
