Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a puzzle-adventure game co-developed by Capcom and Level 5, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a crossover game that mixes and melds the gameplay of both the above series, with Layton solving puzzles and Phoenix Wright's trials.
Both Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright are transported to a mysterious world, after glancing at the pages of an equally mysterious book called the Historia Labyrinthia. There, they find themselves in a medieval setting, where they are stuck defending a girl being accused of witchcraft.
