Story
In tales of Vs Story mode is refered to as Yggdrasill Mode. Yggdrasill Mode pairs up two characters and takes them a linear path of combat and story scenes until they reach their final battle which is usually a antagonist from a past tales game.
Gameplay
As Tales of Vs. is a fighting game theres no dungeons and no towns. Fights are handled like typical Tales games, but the way they happen is slightly different because of the genre of Tales of Vs versus past tales games.
