White Knight Chronicles II - Bounties

Bounties are stronger versions of normal monsters that you are commissioned to kill, by the Adventurer's Guild (you can also access these from the Item Shop in your Georama). There are a total of 41 Bounties in the game, which are unlocked by either story progression or by completing previous Bounties. You can only have one Bounty at a time, so if you want to do another, then you either have to complete the one you have already or abandon it. Note that the suggested level is there as a precaution, as you can definitely do Bounties at lower than the suggested level.
