It is confirmed that there will be four different game modes in Hawken.

Deathmatch - Free-for-all combat, with the aim to acquire more kills than the opposition.

Team Deathmatch - As above but team based instead of free-for-all.

Seige - The goal is to destroy the enemies base. This is done by gathering resources (most likely energy units) in order to build a battleship to destroy their base. The battleships can be destroyed, dropping resources that can be gathered by the enemy.
