Earth Defense Force 2025 has plenty of enemies you will be wanting to blast, some of them being ones seen before and some of them even being new. Enemies come in many different varieties and in many different sizes. The following is just some of the enemies you will encounter in the game.
ANT
One of the most basic of enemies you will fight in the game. They tend to spit acid at you and can also grab you, biting you.
HECTOR
A Hector is a giant robot that has a weapon of some kind on one of its arms, usually an energy blaster similar to a machine gun. Now, even both arms can be equipped with many varieties of weapons.
MOTHERSHIP
The Mothership is a large, round ship that doesn't have much known about it. What is known is that it houses a giant gun that can fire a laser that annihilates buildings.
RETIARIUS
The Retiarius is a spider type enemy that is known to weave its web in between buildings. Any players, especially Wing Divers, who get caught in its web will be stuck until they can manage to get free.
TRANSPORTS
Transports don't have any attacks of their own, but what they do is release all kinds of enemies onto the battlefield.
UNKNOWN FORTRESS
This quadruped fortress doesn't have a name, but its capabilities are known. It is armed with a plasma cannon and can also deploy Hectors. Its weak spot is its hatch when it's open.
