Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is a first-person shooter and a remake/sequel of first Painkiller game. It was developed by Farm 51 and published by Nordic Games for Microsoft Windows via retail and Steam and later for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game continues the travels of series protagonist, Daniel Garner, who despite defeating the forces of Hell and Purgatory in the original game was denied seeing his deceased wife, Catherine. With a new deal on the table from Death himself, Daniel must collect 7,000 souls if he ever wants to see his wife again. The only problem now is whether Death can be trusted to keep his word this time?
