The Great Giana Sisters Overview
The Great Giana Sisters is a platform video game developed by Time Warp Productions for the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, MSX2, and Commodore 64. One night, when little Giana was fast asleep, she had a strange dream and finds herself in a strange world, where everything is completely different.
The Great Giana Sisters is probably best know for being a complete rip off of Super Mario Bros., with almost identical gameplay and levels that appear to be complete copies. Nintendo was quick to threaten Rainbow Arts and Time Warp with legal proceedings and the game was quickly pulled from shelves.
