Mugen Souls Z - 03 - Overwhelming Divine Gear!

There will be new equipment at the shop if you sell the materials you got from enemies on Scarlet World, so check it out and deck out your party where needed. You should revisit Scarlet World before going to White World, but you'll need a Rusty Sword when going there, so make sure you buy one. Head to the northwestern Planet Spot, which will require said Rusty Sword, which undoes the red barrier.

This grants you access to Spot #10 (requires 50 enemy kills, which you should hopefully have by now), as well as a chest by the lighthouse, giving you CHOCOLATE CAKE x1, BACON AND EGGS x2, and FESTIVAL HAPPI COAT x1. For the last spot available, use the Masochist form to captivate it. That's all you can do here for now, so return to G-Castle and set off for White World.

White World

SpotDescriptionForm/Item Needed
1 Into complicated girls Bipolar
2 Wants some slightly sour milk Sour Milk x1
3 72 enemy KOs --
4 Looking for a simple brassiere Simple Bra
5 60 enemy KOs --
6 50 enemy KOs --
7 Wants to play with an energetic girl Hyper
8 Wants an ordinary pair of glasses Framed Glasses
9 Likes quiet girls. This is tough... Terse
10 Likes very proper, well behaved girls Graceful

*Spots 3, 4 and 8 appear after the second event

The first event is straight ahead, but grab the chest on the left first (DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and SOUR MILK x1). You'll meet up with Tsukika at the first event, who sends Reu and Shirogane flying, so they leave your party for now, but Tsukika will join. Make sure you use Arrange to get her into your active party, as well as equip her with better stuff.

Now, White World is set up into different sections that you can get to via teleports (green squares on your map). All of the teleports have a set location they go to, so you won't get lost if you know where each one leads to. For now, jump to the top layer and absorb the first Planet Spot (use the Bipolar form), then take the northeast teleport.

This will set you clear across the map on the western side, where you'll find Planet Spot #2 (needs a Sour Milk), as well as a chest on the southern side (SLEEP NHAOS x1 and HEAVY MACE x1). The next event here will get you back Reu and Shirogane, so if you need to change party members, do so (don't forget to set some in reserve in case).

Take the other teleport, then Captivate Planet Spot #4 (needs Simple Bra) and head to the northern part of this area, grab the nearby chest (NIMBLE SHAMPOO x1, POISON NHAOS x1, and WARDING POWDER x1) and take the teleport there. This will put you in an area with a chest (VIRUS NHAOS x1 and FRAMED GLASSES x1; you'll need the glasses shortly), so open it and back to the previous area. Take the middle teleport in this area, and you'll appear at a spot with two teleports, one to each side.

The teleport on the west side brings you to Spot #3, which only needs you to have defeated 72 enemies so far. Meanwhile, the east teleport brings you to a new area, where you can immediately access Spot #5 (will need to have defeated 60 enemies). If you've gotten every Planet Spot up to now on this world, then you'll view a cutscene.

You'll have the option to leave, but stay for now, as your jumping ability has gotten a boost, allowing you to jump higher. If you head down, you'll be able to get on the two ledges to reach the two chests in the vicinity, netting you a MONOCHROME RIBBON x1, SIMPLE T-SHIRT x1, SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and MY ORIGINAL KNUCKLES x1.

Now, take the teleport directly underneath Spot #5, which will lead you to Spot #8 (need Framed Glasses), as well as a chest (PARALYSIS NHAOS x1, FRIED EGGS x2 and RUSTY SWORD x1) and Spot #6 (need 50 enemy kills). Go back to the teleport and use the one to the southeast of it, where you will find a save point, as well as Spot #9 (try the Terse form).

Head back to the triangle teleports and use the southwestern one, where you'll find Spot #7 (use the Hyper form), as well as a chest around the corner (GROW GROW SHAMPOO x1, MOVE SEAL NHAOS x1 and SUGAR CANDY x1). Navigate the teleports until you get back to the northwest section, where you can use your enhanced jump to grab a chest (SAVVY SOAP x1 and METAL BEAM x1), as well as get to Spot #10 (use Graceful form).

Note that getting to 100% and 300% Planet Energy will get you some Mugen Points, as well as some G and even items. Additionally, getting to 300% will make a very large chest appear somewhere on the map. The one for this planet is located in the spot with Planet Spot #9 and contains SILVER ORE x1, MARINE SHORTS x1 and PLAINS DAGGERS x1. Use the save point to get back on your ship and once you're ready, talk to Ryuto to see a new area.

There will likely be new people on your ship who will give out some free items.

  • Jason - Warding Powder x1, Friend Eggs x2, Simple Bra x1
  • Meowler - Move Seal Nhaos x2, Skill Seal Nhaos x2, Sour Milk x2
  • Afrodite - Grow Grow Soap x2, Melon Shampoo, Grow Grow Shampoo x2
  • Myopie - Virus Nhaos x2, Darkness Nhaos x2, Sugar Candy x2

Instead of going straight to Praesepe Ruins, head back to Scarlet World and Captivate the Planet Spots to get 300% on the world. In fact, getting to just 100% will unlock a new area called Regulus Ruins (this holds true for all "Worlds" in the game). However, immediately jumping to Regulus Ruins will have all Planet Spots locked, so visit Praesepe and then leave to unlock a few.

Regulus Ruins

SpotDescriptionForm/Item Needed
1 Wants a cute, mean girl Ego
2 Loves retro look of tin Tin-Plated Gun
3 180 enemy KOs --
4 Trying to shake off its drowsiness Sleep Nhaos x1
5 Wants to play with energetic girl Hyper
6 200 enemy KOs --
7 160 enemy KOs --
8 Wants a cute, mean girl Ego
9 Prefers simple clothing Simple T-Shirt
10 Likes airheads. This is tough... Ditz

Upon immediately starting, there's a chest on the east side that contains PARALYSIS NHAOS x1, WARDING POWDER x1 and SIMPLE T-SHIRT x1. At the split, go west all the way to find a room with a floating chest (can't grab it yet) and a normal chest (DARKNESS NHAOS x1, HEART SHAMPOO x1 and LOAFERSx1).

Head back a little bit and go south to another big room, with another floating chest. Ignore it and grab the chest in the southeast corner of the room for MOVE SEAL NHAOS x1, NIMBLE SOAP x1 and GRASS CUTTING SICKLE x1. Go back to the split near the beginning and you'll see another chest right when the path goes south (SUGAR CANDY x1 and EYE MASK x1).

Now, head south and grab the chest there (FLIGHTY SOAP x1, SLEEP NHAOS x1 and SUGAR CANDY x1), then head west and into the little dead end for another chest (FRIED EGGS x1, SOUR MILK x1 and STABBIN' STICK x1). There's a blue-colored chest located at the end of the long corridor here, but you can't open it yet, so you can head back to G-Castle.

Praesepe Ruins

SpotDescriptionForm/Item Needed
1 155 enemy KOs --
2 Likes very proper, well behaved girls Graceful
3 Wants to play with energetic girl Hyper
4 Looking for weapon as sharp as sharpest fang Sharp Fang
5 170 enemy KOs --
6 Enjoys cruel treatment Sadist
7 Likes airheads. This is tough... Ditz
8 Doesn't want monsters anywhere near it Warding Powder x1
9 Wants a giant scythe. This is tough... Big Size Scythe
10 230 enemy KOs --

Grab the chest next to the teleporter (WARDING POWDER x1, SOUR MILK x2, and FRIED EGGS x2), then use the teleporter. The first Planet Spot is here, and you'll need 155 kills to capture it (it counts all kills in the game across all worlds). At the event, you'll learn of the Damage Carnival, which lets you get more G and Mugen Points as you deal damage to enemies.

Take the eastern teleport to find Spot #8 (requires a Warding Powder), as well as a chest (SPARKLE SHAMPOO x1, SUGAR CANDY x1, ELVEN BOOTS x1). The next teleport leads to a room with a locked chest, which you can't open yet, so go back one room. Now, take the east teleport and you'll notice a chest on the map. This one is in the air, but you can't grab it yet, so capture Spot #2 (use Graceful form).

Use the next teleport to appear in a semi-round room, where there's nothing but a chest for now (HEART SOAP x1, VIRUS NHAOS x1 and TWIN FLOWERS x1). Head back to the room with three teleports and use the north one this time. There's a chest behind the debris (HARD SOAP x1, SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and ANKLE SOCKS x1), so grab it and use the next teleport.

Planet Spot #4 is in this room, but it requires a Sharp Fang, which is purchasable from the Weapons Shop. Move on to the next room, where Spot #6 is located (use the Sadist form). There's also an event here, but save before you trigger it and switch out Nao (if you're using her) for someone else for now. Yep, you'll be fighting against her in the next battle.

BOSS: Nao
Nao is accompanied by two Jatayu, who have decent HP, and Nao has a lot more than that. Although the Jatayu probably won't cause too much trouble, it's best to take them out before they have a chance to. As for Nao, she can do some pretty good damage, so you're going to want to use your big damage skills against her. Just remember to not group characters together and keep your HP above 100.

Watch the scenes that follow your victory and this chapter will come to a close.
