Like all of the games in this franchise, the general objective in each level; is all about directing the bird(s) at the level in front of them in order to send structures tumbling down to defeat the enemy. This game does show directional dots that allow you to aim, since it will give you an idea of the trajectory the bird will follow.
This game features levels on natural terrain, like the original Angry Birds game, but also terrains in space (like Angry Birds Space), in which gravitational fields do take effect. Strategically, one must take aim with their bird(s) and find the weak points in the course. Certain birds may have different trajectories, such as one flying farther and faster, while another may do more damage. Some blocks may also require less damage to shatter than others. The better you do, the higher the ranking and score you shall recieve, with each stage offering up to three stars for ranking purposes.
Character Abilities
Not including the blue birds, all birds do gain powers that are not featured in other games of this franchise. These abilities tend to reflect the Star Wars crossover and provide even a larger variety of choices. Some of these abilities may be acquired through upgrades, for as you go along, the game does have a level up system for the various characters. Each character is prospectively made to look like a Star Wars character in this crossover, and each one of them has an unique ability of their own to contribute to the levels.
