Dead State takes place after an apocalyptic event and tasks players with organizing and protecting survivors, fortifying their base of operations, and searching the town for supplies.

Story
Dead State takes place in a town called Splendid, Texas. After a virus hits the world and turns those infected into zombies, world civilization is collapsing. The main character created by the player seeks to create a stable refuge for survivors, using a local school as a safehouse. Now, this character must work to provide food, shelter, and safety to these survivors in order to keep humanity from becoming extinct.
Gameplay
Dead State is turn-based RPG that features a third-person perspective. It is not currently known if the game features fixed camera angles, but it will have open-world exploration. There are several goals in the game, including protecting the shelter from zombies, managing a party of survivors, and searching for more supplies and weapons.
