Dwarves are a hardy race and they are proud, claiming to have built a majority of the more amazing underground and aboveground structures. They claimed to be direct descendants of the god, Svarog, with the scriptures to back it up. Dwarves tend to only live around fifty to sixty years, but depending on the kind of magic practiced, they can live shorter or even up to three-four times their average lifespan.
Male dwarves tend to be bald after hitting puberty, but they are also known for their long beards. While they are considered rare, they have been known to pull disappearing acts throughout history. For example, one time they were thought to be extinct, but they had used magic to hide in the rocks. Black magic is not something that dwarves have been known to practice, and they can be considered very passionate. However, they tend to quickly misunderstand things, resulting in them getting into fights often.
