Costumes are the equipment pieces that modify your hero's stats and visual appearance . You can only wear one costume at a time, but you can have more in your inventory and switch between them at any time.
You can find costumes around the world as random drop or you can purchase them from the Shop with real money currency.
For each costume, you can craft improvements which offer you Defensive, Offensive or Visual perks. Here's a list of Marvel Heroes: Costume Crafting improvements you can create:
Defensive Affix (Stats)
You can add a Defensive Affix that improves your defense stats of your costume. There are 4 grades of Affixes (higher is better). You can craft them anytime but to equip these affixes, you must first reach a certain level. Only one affix at a time can be equiped.
