Marvel Heroes is an online Free-to-Play MMO game developed by Gazillion Entertainment and released for Windows and Mac OS X on June 4, 2013. The action takes place in the Marvel Universe, a world where you can play as one of the many superheroes like Iron Man, Spider-man, Wolverine and Hulk.
The Cosmic Cube is a device of untold power capable of changing the very fabric of reality at the whim of its possessor. The brilliant but malevolent Dr. Doom has the Cube, and with it he aims to reshape the world in his own image. Determined to succeed where the Cube's previous wielders have failed, Doom has lined up villainous allies to prevent the super-heroes from interfering. Can you unravel Doctor Doom's sinister plan and stop him before it's too late?

Marvel Heroes is a MMO Action RPG where you take control of a Superhero and fight its way through the "Marvelous" storyline and defeat the Villains.
Heroes
The Heroes are playable characters in Marvel Heroes. You can select one, make it unique and evolve through the game. Here's a list of the currently available heroes:

Villains
Villains are the major enemies which you encounter during the game. You cannot play as a one and have to eliminate them. Here's a list of the currently present villains:

Skills
Skills are unlockable abilities which can be earned by every in-game hero over time by leveling up. Every hero has a sepparate skill tree, featuring 3 speciality brenches. Gaining XP will raise your level and award Skill Points which you can invest into Skills. Some missions or tasks will also award Skill Points.
