Rust is a first-person shooter game developed by Facepunch Studios and released on Mac OS and Microsoft Windows. It is currently in open beta, although it doesn't have an actual release date for the final product yet. Inspired by both DayZ and Minecraft, the game comes from the studio responsible for Garry's Mod. The object of the game is to work with other players online in order to survive a zombie-infested world.

Rust is an online multiplayer first-person shooter. The object of the game is to survive in a world full of harsh environments and zombies. Players can survive by building their own shelters, as well as craft their own equipment, including weapons and other items. The goal of the game is for players to make their own story and do what they want, surviving against the game itself and other players.
