Microsoft announced that a new Crackdown game was in development at last year's E3. Now, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has told fans that the game is making great progress, but declined to confirm its presence at E3 2015 later this month.

2007's Crackdown by was one of the early great exclusives for the Xbox 360. A sequel in 2010 underperformed, however, and the franchise went dormant. Until today, when Microsoft revealed an upcoming new entry to the series, so far simply called Crackdown,...
