Laurent Malville joined the Ubisoft Toronto team in 2010 as Lead Game Designer on Splinter Cell Blacklist, bringing a unique user-centric vision for game design to the studio. Working at Ubisoft since 2006, Laurent has applied his design approach to multiple games including Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, EndWar, Splinter Cell Conviction and Assassin's Creed II.
As Game Content Manager in the Worldwide Creative Content team at production headquarters, he was responsible for improving the quality of various projects throughout the Ubisoft family of studios on multiple levels, from level and game design to accessibility and usability. Laurent’s dual educational background in industrial product design and video game design has provided him with valuable insight throughout his career in game design at Ubisoft.
