The only real exception to this is if it is not an actual picture but a rendition. For instance, a picture that someone drew for DeviantArt is that person's work and copyrighted. The image constitutes the entirety of their creative work. However, concept art from the company is fair game.

For example, IGN tends to always put their logo in the bottom right corner of their images, or at least the ones they use on their main site (their wiki images tend to be clean).

Basically any images are find, but make sure it's a good quality image that isn't all pixelated. Also, make sure there are no watermarks of another site on the image.

Check other wikis as a reference if needed, but don't just copy and paste the info from there.

If I had to choose one I'd say RPGs too. Racing games are a close second...

All genres.....coz everything has something unique to offer...except MMOs coz I just don't enough time to get into those....

exactly, id hope the game would work as a stand alone if the series flops too, as we all know, game movies dont work, i hae my fingers crossed that this all fits together nicely.

Anyone in US seen anything of the series yet? there have been trailers but they are region locked and not available in UK. Not heard anything regarding actors and the like as yet.

Ahh yeah, Defiance! I keep forgetting about it but the concept is really intriguing. The game takes place concurrently with a Sci-Fi channel TV show. Neat concept but this is going to be all about the execution. If they can pull it off, it could change what's expected out of an MMO.

I'm hopeful because I've heard good things about Rift. I think that they are quite up to the challenge. The concern for me is more the people backing them and how well they allow the two branches to interact.
