Famitsu has shared a number of story and setting details for the upcoming JRPG Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness.

It’s been several centuries since Earth was left behind and a Galactic Federation has formed in an attempt to bring about order and peace.
War is brewing, however, and the story opens on the unsettled planet of Feycreed, 6,000 light-years away from Earth.
The main protagonist is called Fidel Camus and his childhood friend and companion is Miki Sorvesta. Camus is a talented swordsman who puts his skills to use defending the town as war comes ever closer, while Miki is a powerful healer.
