Capcom has announced that Resident Evil HD Remaster has sold 1 million copies worldwide, which appears to be well above internal expectations at the firm ("remarkably high volume for a remastered title").
Resident Evil HD Remaster released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC in January, and even managed to break a digital sales record on PSN at the time.
The series as a whole has now sold over 65 million units since the original Resident Evil released back in 1996.
