Gears of War Remake for Xbox One Reportedly in Testing

It looks like a remaster of the original Gears of War is genuinely happening.

Rumours have been swirling for some time regarding a potential remaster, although a carefully worded denial last month by Black Tusk's Rod Fergusson seemed to shoot down the idea.

Rumours resurfaced yesterday, however, with this article by Polygon, which claimed that sources had told the website that a remaster was indeed in the works.

To add further fuel to the fire, today Kotaku is reporting that three play-testers have confirmed to Kotaku that a remaster for the original Gears of War - and only the original Gears of War - is being developed by Splash Damage (Brink).
