Amiibo Shipments Hit 10.5M Units

Nintendo has revealed that 10.5 million Amiibo figures have been shipped worldwide to-date.

66 percent of the 10.5 million figure was shipped to North America, while the rest of the world got the other 34 percent. 4.8 million Amiibo figures were shipped in the first three months of 2015.

Despite shipments of 10.5 million Amiibo figures, there have been heavy shortages since they launched last year. Nintendo released a statement earlier this week promising that it would increase shipments to try and meet this high level of demand.
