It's been announced via the PlayStation Blog that horror game SOMA (from Frictional Games, creators of 2010’s acclaimed horror title Amnesia: The Dark Descent), will be released digitally on the PlayStation 4 and PC on September 22nd.
“We at Frictional Games started working on SOMA in the autumn of 2010, so the game has been in development for almost five years now. This makes it extremely satisfying for us to finally be able to reveal a release date and to look forward to unleashing our creation upon the world.”
Frictional Games also released a new gameplay trailer, which includes over 10 minutes of gameplay footage:
Amnesia: The Dark Descent was originally released on PC in 2010, and was one of the scariest games of that year, so fans of horror games will want to keep an eye out for SOMA when it releases on the PlayStation 4 and PC later this year.
