Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was the best-selling game in the UK last week (week ending 15th August), according to sources that spoke to MCVUK. However, because GFK Chart-Track does not track digital sales the game did not make the charts officially.
According to MCVUK's source the game easily outsold the best-selling retail game, LEGO Jurassic World.
This is not the first time this year that the best-selling game was not counted because of digital sales. Cities: Skylines outsold every other game when it launched, including the top selling retail game at the time, Grand Theft Auto V.
Likewise if digital sales for Grand Theft Auto V had been counted it would have outsold Mortal Kombat X in late April.
