Nintendo has partnered with EMP Museum to host a Nindies@Night event to celebrate indie games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
"Support from our esteemed ‘Nindie’ developers on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS continues to surprise and delight our fans," said Nintendo of America’s Damon Baker. "We’re thrilled to highlight these partners in collaboration with EMP and kick off the expo weekend in the best way possible – by playing new games together with friends."
A number of indie games will be playable at the event, and there will also be a presentation from indie developers, giveaways, and multiplayer competitions.
The event will be held Thursday night before PAX Prime in Seattle on August 27th from 8pm DPT until midnight at the EMP Museum.
The event is free but there is only a limited amount of room, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
