Super Robot Wars BX (3DS) has beaten Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) to top the Japanese charts for the week ending August 9th, according to Media Create. The game sold 98,366 units in its first week on sale.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) is at number two with sales of 65,904 units. Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad and Splatoon are both down one spot to numbers three and four, respectively; Yo-kai Watch Busters sold 48,592 units, while Splatoon sold 23,874 units. Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ rounded out the top five with sales of 12,083 units.
The Nintendo 3DS was the top selling platform with sales of 28,279 units. The PlayStation 4 sold 14,495 units, the PlayStation Vita sold 11,605 units, and the Wii U sold 11,302 units. The PlayStation 3 sold 2,549 units, while the Xbox One sold just 160 units.
