Activision has announced that Avenged Sevenfold will appear in Guitar Hero Live.
The three songs from the Californian heavy metal band that will appear in Guitar Hero Live are "Shepard of Fire", "Buried Alive", and "Nightmare." Both "Buried Alive" and "Nightmare" appeared on the band's 2010 album titled Nightmare, while "Shepard of Fire" is off the band's latest album, 2013's Hail to the King.
The Avenged Sevenfold songs will be playable in the Guitar Hero TV Premium Shows section of the game. That means players will have to either unlock the songs by completing challenges, or by purchasing access to them. Footage of the band performing these songs was recorded by Activision for the mode.
Guitar Hero Live releases on October 20 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
