SOMA was released just last week and it has already managed to sell 92,000 units according to developer Frictional Games.
The money made from the game is enough to pay for the developer's expenses for the next two years and the game is still selling roughly 2,000 copies per day. The goal was for SOMA to sell 100,000 units in its first month, which it should comfortably surpass.
By comparison, Amnesia: The Dark Descent sold 30,000 units in its first month, while Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs sold 120,000 units in its first week.
