It was widely reported last week that Sony had halted all first party development for the PlayStation Vita. However, that appears to not be the case.
Sony’s European boss Jim Ryan told VG24/7 that, while there are no triple-A first-party titles in development for the PlayStation Vita, Sony is still developing 'content' for the handheld.
"To clarify what was said about Vita, which was either misinterpreted or misreported: I think what was said was that we’re no longer in the business of triple-A development of games for Vita. But there is still first-party Vita content being worked upon," said Ryan.
