Back when Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 launched in September the game notably lacked updated rosters to reflect summer transfer activity. An update was subsequently released with the intention of remedying this, however it proved incomplete and a second update was due later this.
However, Konami has now come out and said that the second update won't be released until December.
"It has been a difficult few months for the fans in how we have been delivering content in our recent Data Packs, with some items missing that our consumers expected," said Konami’s football and alliances director, Erik Bladinieres.
"The next Data Pack is scheduled for early December, including the Maracana stadium, more faces, new national team kits, club teams and the player roster which was confirmed on October 19th."
Fortunately it's not all bad news for PES 2016 fans. Konami has also confirmed that it will be releasing free EUEFA Euro 2016 content for all players.
"We strive to keep delivering quality content to our fans, for free. The content of the UEFA Euro 2016 content has yet to be defined, but all content delivered by Data Pack featuring Euro for next year's prestigious tournament will be free to all existing users," said Bladinieres.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
